As me and my back get older, i think about going to a lighter weight boat, for ease of loading and launching, etc. i fish alone most of the time, and i currently have a 1648 flat jon with a carpeted wood floor and front deck, 25 hp outboard, trolling motor, battery.. The family and i just finished our 5 hour patio boat rental and could not be more pleased with our renting experience. the staff was very professional and polite. very nice to talk with and the boat was awesome. had a blast on the lake.. The kayak is a tremendously popular water craft. it is light, quiet, stable, and grants access to water that many other fishing boats may not be able to reach..
