Fishing on round lake. tuscarora lodge is located on round lake which is a wonderful little fishing lake. catch walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike all from our dock! ask any of our regular cabin guests and they will tell you, fishing round lake can be done for 30 years or more with out losing its thrill.. As far as ice goes i found the ice no thinner than 6.5" all over the area i was at which is the north side of the lake. the ice is clear and smooth. but all i really need is the depth and to mark some fish while fishing out of the canoe. but don't count on that being the norm. it also gets year round use for checking depths ice fishing.
